Leslie E. Hughes is originally from Louisiana where she received her Vocal Performance degree from Northeast Louisiana University (low Mezzo-Soprano), and is most recently from Nebraska, where she owned Reel People Talent Agency She’s been in the industry as an actress, host, and singer for over 20 years and moved to New York City in 2000. Since then she’s been fortunate enough to be able to make a living as a Makeup Artist and jazz singer, and only recently resumed pursuing an acting career. In the seven years she’s been aggressively promoting herself she’s appeared as on-camera principal in 3 industrials, 2 TV commercials, appeared as an under-5 on 2 soaps (4 times on one of them), performed as lead in 4 Off-Off Broadway plays, 1 Off-Broadway play & 3 Off-Broadway musicals. Leslie is currently working on her 3rd independent film this year. Leslie has portrayed everything from the happy-go-lucky nerdish girl next door, to aggressive soccer-moms, and psychotic killers in both comedies and drama. Her roles as reporters and executives include the competent, the shy sweet types, to stern and stoic. She’s even played a man!
